Our guesthouse, renovated from an old house, is a place where you can truly experience traditional Japanese scenery.
Located in the mountains close to JR Shin-Yamaguchi Station, the gateway to Yamaguchi, this environment surrounded by tranquil countryside and crystal clear streams provides an unforgettable experience for all who visit.
"Mirai-no-Furusato Village" is a traditional Japanese guesthouse perfect for families, couples and friends to relax in beautiful nature.
You can fully enjoy country life, playing in the river and having picnics during the day, and enjoying the romantic scenery of dancing fireflies at night.
At our guesthouse, we hold various events where you can experience nature in each season!

We have a traditional wood stove and camping space.
Why not spend a nostalgic and extraordinary time at the traditional guesthouse?
Not only can you fish or splash around in the stream that runs in front of the guesthouse, but you can also see fireflies every year in early June!
ANIMALS
At our guesthouse, you can spend a relaxing time with the chickens and dogs that live freely on the grounds.
These experiences will relax you and make you feel in harmony with nature. Whether it's collecting fresh eggs in the morning or taking a walk with the dogs, these heartwarming moments will make your stay special, surrounded by nature and animals.
In addition to the animals on the premises, there are many other creatures living in the surrounding mountains and rivers, so it might be nice to take a walk there.
If you're lucky, you might be able to see wildlife such as wild boars and Japanese macaques from afar.
Our dog is very friendly and do not bite or bark, however please note that people who do not like dogs may be asked to refrain from visiting.
We have a variety of birds, including chickens.
His name is Mash. He's a very friendly dog and would be happy if you pet him gently.
CULTURE
Intercultural Exchange Events
The old-style guesthouse "Mirai Furusato" welcomes foreign travelers and is visited by many people from all over the world.
We hold seasonal events every year where people of all kinds can socialize with each other, such as rice planting experiences in June, rice harvesting experiences in October, and Christmas parties and rice cake pounding competitions in December and January.
In addition, you may be able to enjoy a variety of different cultures by participating in the "English Class" held every Wednesday, which is a donation-based social event.
We also hold various other events on an irregular basis, so if you are interested, please come and join us.
